Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the Terms & Conditions of purchasing on butterscotch.co.za and is applicable to South African customers only. 

Butterscotch reserves the right to reject the returns of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Shipping

Shipping within South Africa will be charged at a flat rate of R99 nationwide. Delivery will take approximately 5-7 working days to arrive once the parcel has been shipped from our warehouse. Deliveries to rural areas may add additional days to the delivery time frames.

Order delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorisation. We cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery and the above time is as provided to us by the courier company.

Please note that the delivery timeframe may vary during sale times due to an influx of orders.

 

Delivery Locations

Butterscotch.co.za delivers only to addresses within South Africa.

Please Note: We do not deliver to PO Boxes as our courier providers require a signature upon receipt.

 

Delivery Address

Please ensure that there will be someone available to receive your purchase at the address provided, as our Courier requires a signature upon receipt. Should a work address be provided, the Courier will require the business and receivers’ names.

Once an order has been dispatched, Butterscotch is unable to amend delivery location or redirect parcel.

 

Online Returns and Exchanges Policy

Our Returns Policy is in addition to your rights under South African Consumer Law.

 

Return Requirements

Butterscotch is passionate about ensuring that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind about an item purchased on Butterscotch.co.za, you are entitled to a refund/return within 10 days of receipt should it meet the below requirements:

  • Proof of purchase needs to be included.
  • Product or Garment is returned in its original packaging.
  • Garment is in original condition, including unworn and unwashed, with hygiene stickers in place.
  • Due to hygiene we cannot accept return on items that have been worn. Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear. In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns of items where it's obvious that this hasn't been done.

For all returns requests please send a detailed mail to info@butterscotch.co.za. Once authorised, a collection will be arranged. Butterscotch does not accept returns sent separately by the customer.

 

Returns of Goods Purchase on a Promotion

Any goods that have been purchased on a promotion, will upon return be subject to a handling and administration fee of R150 per order.

The handling and administration fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

Refund Payments

Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment, within 5 business days of Butterscotch receiving the return parcel. Notification will be sent to the nominated email address at the time of this transaction.
